Favorite ship: Queen Mary 2
Favorite destination: Los Angeles and Las Vegas
Best cruise tip: Although cruising is a cashless society it is always a good idea to take some small amounts of local currencies to make purchases when you are ashore.
I love cruising! It is a great way to see the world and make new friends. I have traveled to Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South Pacific, Bermuda, New Zealand and Mexico. All of them have been fantastic trips. I enjoy being able to unpack once, being surrounded by friendly staff from all over the world and being able to see several destinations in one trip.

Favorite ship: Dawn/Sun Princess
Favorite destination: Croatia and Mediterranean
Best cruise tip: Check out which ports are famous what souvenir so you don't purchase everything at the first port of call. Leave plenty of room in your suitcase for your shopping, or pack a carry bag to load with your purchases. The extra bag is also handy for any items you need to "declare" so you don't have to open your main suitcase!
I have worked in travel for since 2003 after coming home from 4.5 years of living in abroad - in New York, Calgary and London. I took 5 months off in 2009 to travel around Africa, Spain, Turkey and Croatia. Cruising is an awesome way to travel and I love seeing the growth as more and more Australians & Kiwis get to experience the wonder of "unpacking once" and not lifting a finger for the whole holiday!

Favorite ship: Pacific Princess
Favorite destination: Mazatlan, Mexico
Best cruise tip: Your cabin steward is the most important crew member on the cruise. Look after them, and they will help make your cruise a very memorable experience.
I was employed as the District Sales Manager for Carnival Australia, based in NZ, before setting up Cruises Online, now Cruise Republic, (the owners of this website) in 2008. I am passionate about cruising and have enjoyed many voyages to and around destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, South Pacific and New Zealand. I have cruised on Pacific Dawn, Pacific Jewel, Pacific Sun, Pacific Star, Sun Princess, Golden Princess, Pacific Princess and Carnival Pride.

Favorite ship: Emerald Princess
Favorite destination: Canadian Rockies
Best cruise tip: Well it's not really a tip, but what I love about cruising is that you can visit many different countries... and you only need to upack once! And you can make lots of friends of different nationalities.
I have enjoyed many fantastic cruises - the Emerald Princess around Europe (Barcelona to Venice); P&O Sky Pacific around the Pacific; Star Cruises around Australia, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia; Norwegian Line Pride of America around Hawaii; Holland America around Alaska's Inside Passage; and Captain Cook cruises in Queensland.

Favorite ship: Dawn Princess
Favorite destination: Egypt and Fiji
Best cruise tip: Remember to take time relax & do nothing! It's so easy to get caught up in all the extra things to do onboard each day that suddenly you are at the end of your cruise & left wondering where the time went.
I've worked in many aspects of the travel industry for over 16 years & have been selling cruises for more than 2 years. I have travelled extensively within NZ, Australia & the South Pacific, along with smaller trips to Europe & Egypt. I love travelling & helping people plan their dream holidays but really can't think of a better all-inclusive holiday option than cruising if you truely want to be able to rest.

Favorite ship: Dawn Princess
Favorite destination: Bali, Gold Coast
Best cruise tip: Booking a Balcony Cabin, so you can sit on your own private balcony and watch the world go by.
I have been a retail travel consultant for 3 years, and in that time I have sold holiday packages throughout the world. Plus I have sold many cruises with P&O, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Athena & Cunard to name a few.
For me cruising is a fantastic way to travel as you only have to unpack once and you mingle with so many different people. I especially like the shows, the quizzes and the amazing destination's that cruising has to offer.

Favorite destination: Croatia/New York
Best cruise tip: Cruises are a great way to meet new people, so make sure you sit at a large table, even if you have 'Anytime Dining' and join in on the fun.
I have been working in the Cruise Industry for 5 years now. I worked in the United Kingdom for 2 years, as well as Australia and New Zealand. I have been able to go on many International ships and sell some amazing Cruise holiday packages to destinations such as Alaska, Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Apart from my cruise experience I have also traveled around Europe, United States, New Zealand, Australia and more. I have enjoyed visiting many great cities and ports.

Favorite ship: Dawn Princess
Favorite destination: Alaska
Best cruise tip: It doesn't hurt to pay a little extra to travel in a Balcony Cabin specially on the longer voyages. The experience is worth every penny. AND NEVER FORGET YOUR PASSPORT!
Cruising is one of the most affordable and relaxing way to holiday, hence why the cruising business in Australia has never been busier! I've been in the Cruising Industry for almost 5 years, most of which I've spent working for P&O cruises, Princess Cruises and all the Carnival Products. After travelling on a few ships myself, its easy to understand why some people are hooked!

Maria

Favorite ship: Rhapsody of the Seas
Favorite destination: Mystery island
Best cruise tip: A lot of passengers are under the impression that the photos available for purchase at the "Photo and Video Gallery" will be discounted on the last day. This is wrong. Do not wait until the last day! Passengers that do, end up rushing their purchases and have to pay in cash.
I love cruising and have sailed on pretty much every ship that departs from Australian Ports.

I have been working in various fields within the Tourism Industry for almost 5 years. I have been in New Zealand now going on 3 years, before that I had the opportunity to work in London for 2 years, immigrating from South Africa. I have traveled to Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Mauritius, Seychelles, Reunion , Australia and other interesting destinations. I absolutely love the Cruising World, it has opened up my eyes to a whole new and fantastic way of traveling and seeing the world. I guarantee you will love it as much as I do.

Favorite ship: Queen Mary 2
Favorite destination: Tahiti and Vancouver
Best cruise tip: Try to check out and book some of your shore excursions before you leave. There's something to suit everyone from tasting the local cuisine to high adrenalin activities or if relaxing on a beach sounds more like your cup of tea then there's always that option for you too! Shore excursions are usually reserved by 'First in, First Served' so book early to avoid missing a spot.
I have been working in the travel industry for 5 years with the majority of this time selling cruises to every corner of the world! I have travelled up into the South Pacific Islands, Australia and NZ, Canada and Indonesia with future plans to travel around Asia and up to Europe.
